Pure House On The Lake began with a single piece of shoreline on Lalla Takerkoust, chosen for what surrounded it rather than what could be built on it: still water on one side, the stone folds of the Agafay Desert on the other, and the Atlas Mountains holding the horizon. The house that stands here now was designed to stay out of that view's way.
Seven dwellings, each individually designed, sit within it. There is no lobby to pass through, no restaurant seating arranged for turnover, no schedule but the one our guests set for themselves. Every detail — from the stillness of the water to the pace of service — is composed for guests who have already seen the world's finest addresses, and are looking for something quieter.

From the Standard Room overlooking the garden and pool, to the Lake View Suite with its private bathtub facing the water, every dwelling was designed on its own terms rather than repeated from a template. What they share is restraint: natural materials, quiet color, and a view that was never left to chance.

Lalla Takerkoust sits forty minutes south of Marrakech, where the city gives way to the folded stone of the Agafay Desert and the Atlas Mountains rise behind it. Close enough for an easy transfer from the medina or the airport; far enough that none of the city's noise follows you here.
